About Me
Camp Kupugani is a multicultural summer camp dedicated to enriching the lives of young women, ages 7-15, by encouraging them to address, recognize, and let go of stereotypes that society has presented to them.
Less than two hours west of Chicago, our two-week multicultural residential program for girls called focuses on diversity and communication skills in a fun atmosphere— uniting girls of varied backgrounds and providing them with empowerment and community-building skills, so that girls aged seven to fifteen expand comfort zones and build self-esteem. They enjoy activities like rock climbing, river walking, canoeing, playing under waterfalls, and night hikes under the stars, plus carefully designed group activities and games so that fun and personal growth coincide.
The Kupugani staff believes that living, playing, and working together is the best way to instill bonds of friendship and trust, and break down the walls between children and adults.
